Background
Carlisle and Associates is essentially a consortium of former health care and insurance professionals who have found a niche in bridging the gap between health care providers and the insurance industry. While their methods are extremely esoteric and complex, their selling proposition is simple: let us negotiate for your hospital and you'll save a great deal of money. This in turn will allow you to provide better service to your patients. Carlisle and Associates approached [whitepenny] with the challenge of conveying this simple idea to healthcare professionals who, frankly, are exhausted by the insurance aspect of their businesses and are content with staying the course, even if it means more out of pocket expense.
Approach
Carlisle's partners felt it was very important to specifically outline their unique approach in detail so that a decision-maker would have all the necessary information in one place to make a decision. Working with this assumption, [whitepenny] proposed a website that sold the highlights of Carlisle's process (Innovation, Experience, Value Creation) in an interactive way while providing a plethora of information behind it. The design is much more progressive than what would be expected from an essentially conservative company, and this design was infused into sales materials and collateral as well as the website so as to present Carlisle & Associates as a truly unique entity in their sector.
